Why I Write

I write stories with chronic pain and bisexual representation because these are the realities that shaped me, and I’ve spent most of my life wishing I could find them on the page. I’ve always dreamed of reading about characters who struggle the way I do—people whose pain makes every step heavier, who aren’t always able to be brave or powerful, who make mistakes and carry them like scars. I write to give those characters space to breathe, to love, to fail, and to keep going anyway. And in doing that, I hope to offer readers the kind of connection and comfort I spent years searching for myself.
